| Welcome to the StunGaming HL2RP Server.
I'll cover the general basic guidelines to follow -

1)
No one knows about black mesa. Gordon Freeman hasn't even been heard about yet.
This is not dark rp.
This is not perp.
This Half-Life 2 SERIOUS Rp.
You don't run around and shoot shit randomly, you role play everything.
2) Commands - Basic things you need to know to be able to know to roleplay properly.
// (OOC) - This means Out Of Character, use this when you want to talk to the server wide, out of character.
.// (LOOC) - This means Local Out Of Character, use this when you want to talk to people next to you, out of character.
/Charfallover (Number) - This is to make your character fall over, use it if you get knocked over, knocked out, sleeping, or stuck.
/Roll - You roll to see if an action fails, or suceeds, (Our server is using Play To Lose)
2) Terms in HL2RP or RP in general
OOC - Out of Character
LOOC - Local Out of Character
CP - Civil Protection
Isolate - If a CP says this, it means move away from the location you are at
FearRP - Situation where you have to obey the person that is actively putting you in fear.
Rations - A bag filled with tokens and food. You want this. Do NOT talk about it in front of Civil Protection Units.
Detain - To be put in Jail
Cycle - Five minutes in jail
Apply - Citizen name and Citzen Identification (In our server just do /apply)
CID - Citizen Identification
Minge - Bad Player / Rule Breaker
3) Rules
- No RDM
- New Life Rule - Do not go back to the spot you were killed for five minutes, and you forget everything that started the event that caused you to die.
- No Racism in OOC (Keep this VERY minimal in character)
- No spamming
- No threats, disrespect, etc to any player in the server
- No stat-whoring (Gaining stats in a non-rp way, for example afk jumping in server)
4) Creating A Character
Here are some notes to keep in mind when making him/her:
- Is he® a loyalist? Does he® hate CP? What is he back story?
- Your physical description is what you LOOK like, pick an appropiate model, ex: Bald l Black l Brown Eyes l Accent l Smells Bad l Tall l Fat l
- Stats - Your preference, do want him to be a medic? Run for a long time? Untie people fast?
- Name - No famous people, no steam names, legitmate names, like: James Connor, Rob Remington, etc
5) Rolepay Guideline
- Do not run/jump/crouch(without reason)/yell in plaza, or you will be beaten.
- Press F1 to check your tokens, name and Citizen ID
- When a CP ask to apply, state your name and Citizen ID (Just use /apply)
Recognize System - When you look at someone you don't know, it shows their description when you look at them, and when they talk except in OOC and LOOC, it always shows their name. Press F3 to identify people around you that you know, or they know you. They also show up at the top of the scoreboard.
Fear RP - This is used when someone has a gun and you don't, you are tied, or they make you believe they have a gun to your back.
- You MUST obey the person when falling under FearRP.
- You cannot roll, or anything.
- The reason for this is becuase you don't want to die, or you can't do anything.
Meta Gaming - Using information your character doesn't know about. Don't do it.

Physical Descriptions Guide
A guide on how to properly make a physical description.

What is a Physical Description?
A physical description is a way of describing what a certain object looks like, physically. In HL2RP, physical descriptions are one of the most important things. Because everyone can't have a different model than each other, physical descriptions come in handy. When writing a physical description, you can be as creative as you want, remember though, it still needs reasonable and fitting the HL2 time zone. You can't say that your character has an iPod in his pocket simply because they no longer exist within the city. Also remember to choose a model that's the most similar to your description as well for realism factors. You don't want put that your character has black hair and then choose the bald man model for obvious reasons. Always remember to have it neat and tidy as well, people don't want to read a messy description.

Green = Correct
Red = Incorrect
1. - Likes the Combine, is a friendly guy, enjoys music and wants to work for the CWU
- Brown Hair, Gloomy blue eyes, Wears a standard City 18 Suit, Nicely tied shoes
2. - Sad Man|Watches People|Fears the Combine|iPod on shirt|
- 6'4"|Male|Scar Under Eye|C18 Jumpsuit|Long Blond Hair|
Ways of Writing a Physical Description
There are tons of ways in writing a physical description. It can be a long sentance, multiple short sentances, and even just 1-3 word titles. Here is a ways in formatting your physical description.
1. 5'4"|Female|Green Eyes|Brown Hair|Standard C18 Suit|Worn Old Shoes
2. 5'4"/Female/Green Eyes/Brown Hair/Standard C18 Suit/Worn Old Shoes
3. 5'4", Female, Green Eyes, Brown Hair, Standard C18 Suit, Worn Old Shoes
4. Around 5'4" tall, Is female, Has small green eyes, Brown hair in a ponytail, Wearing a C18 Jumpsuit, Old shoes worn on feet.
5. She is a short women with small green eyes, brown hair hangs down in a ponytail, she wears a tattered old City 18 jumpsuit, old worn shoes are on her feet.
Physical Description Checklist
You do not need to have everything listed below, it is recommended you have most of it.
- Gender
- Height
- Weight
- Clothing (Shirt, pants, shoes)
- Accessories (Hat, glasses, backpack)
- Hair Style/Color
- Eye Color
- Facial/Body Features (Freckles, scars)
- Job Tags (CWU, Private Buisness)
